Everyone deserves an advocate, especially as we grow older or we are at our most vulnerable. Digging through legalese jargon all alone can be difficult and overwhelming.

You may have been referred to a fiduciary by your attorney, the court, or a loved one. Whatever the case, Verity Fiduciary can walk you through the process and make it clear and straightforward, and explain things to you in terms that are relatable and that you understand.

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. it's not.

One of the most important things you can do on this earth is let other know people know they are not alone.

All advocacy is, at its core, an exercise in empathy.

Activism is my rent for living on the planet.

Advocate like a Mother.

      About us

      Marijke Priest

      Owner – Verity Fiduciary Service

      1. My name is Marijke Priest

      2. I am a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary, and those are the 2 most complicated things about me.

I was born in The Netherlands into an Air Force family, and moved to the United States as a young child, ending up on the Central Coast in 1985. I am a Morro Bay High School graduate, and have a B.S. in Social Sciences with a minor in Criminal Justice from Chapman University.

Beyond advocacy and public service, I have enjoyed an active part of alternative education with my now teenage daughter. I am grateful to translate my education and life of care and community into a career that I am ardent and fervent about. I am continuously learning and keeping abreast of the opportunities that a fiduciary can bring to the quality of life to those on the Central Coast.

I have had the honor of volunteering with our local county Ombudsman program, and have a finger on the pulse of what is happening in our aging & vulnerable community. My family also is proactive with ECHO, our homeless population in North County; we don’t want anyone slipping through the cracks of bureaucracy in their greatest time of need.

Please call for a free consultation & thank you for considering Verity Fiduciary.
